year in Athens, Greece will be the first time that the Olympic
Games will feature a Women's Division in the sport of Freestyle
Wrestling.
Golden Gate Wrestling has a long tradition of women who have
trained and competed in Gay Games and other tournaments
with great success. Whether you are a beginner or experienced
wrestler, we courage women to participate in our program.
Whether you want to train for competition or just to get some
excercise, your goal is our goal.

Due to insurance requirements you must comply with the following requirements before stepping onto the mat:. + Fill out and sign a club waiver form + Hold a current USAW competitors card New wrestlers and out-of-town visitors must now purchase their card online. For $30 + You should be in good physical shape Make the coaching staff aware of any chronic injuries or physical limitations you may have + Wear appropriate clothing for a workout: mat shoes, singlet, or shorts and t-shirt FEES: Annual membership dues include the following: + GGWC t-shirt + USAW wrestling card with supplemental medical/liability insurance + discounts on workout wear and safety gear + instruction from a variety of qualified USAW Bronze certified coaches.
